March 27, 2020
Idaho Governor Brad Little issued a mandatory statewide 21-day stay at home order on March 25 to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Boise Centre is closed to the public through April 15th and we will continue to monitor the local health situation closely. It may be necessary for Boise Centre to be closed beyond April 15th. The Visitor Information Center located off The Grove Plaza is also closed.
During this time, Boise Centre’s management team, sales and marketing, and event managers are working remotely. To contact a member of the staff, please email or call them directly. View Staff directory.
At this time, events with greater than 50 people have been rescheduled through the end of May. Please check with your event organizers for the status of your meeting or event here at Boise Centre.
Boise Centre is actively following and adhering to the Interim Guidance for Mass Gatherings and Public Events in Idaho issued March 16, 2020, by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and the seven local Public Health Districts.
For the purpose of this guidance, mass gatherings are defined as gatherings for business, social, academic or recreational activities, including community, civic, public, concerts, festivals, conventions, fundraisers, and similar activities.
Idaho public health experts will support any decision made by a venue or event manager to postpone or cancel mass gatherings and public events that will bring together more than 50 individuals where social distancing of 6 feet or more is unlikely or not possible. Or the event will draw audiences or participants from communities, states or countries with confirmed community spread of COVID-19 disease.
