This past fall Boise Centre, Idaho’s premier convention center destination, opened Concierge Corner & Visitor Services, a service center designed to assist convention and trade show attendees while at the same time offering visitors to our city a wide array of helpful materials to aid them as they experience all that our city has to offer. From maps and brochures to calendars and details regarding Boise’s local museums and attractions, Concierge Corner & Visitor Services offers a wide range of materials at no charge. A computer is also on site allowing for quick research, securing directions or even allowing guests to print boarding passes or other travel related documents.
Since opening in October over 350 visitors have signed the registry, representing 29 states and nine countries. While visitors are encouraged to sign the guest book, they are not required to do so to get information. To date, the fourteen volunteers who help run Concierge Corner have logged almost 400 hours of service. The Boise Centre is seeking additional volunteers to work in Concierge Corner. Concierge Corner & Visitors Services is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at Boise Centre, next to Tater’s on the Grove. Concierge Corner will stay open late on all First Thursday’s until 8 p.m.
