Our Mission

As the largest convention facility in Idaho, the Boise Centre was created to generate local economic development. We provide the highest level of quality services with utmost consideration to our clients, guests and employees while preserving the asset we have been given the responsibility to operate.

Location, Location, Location

The Boise Centre is located in the heart of downtown Boise, Idaho within walking distance of approximately one thousand hotel rooms, a variety of restaurants, coffee bars, cinemas, museums, shopping, entertainment, and other attractions. Boise’s public plaza—The Grove Plaza—which hosts numerous events throughout the year, is right outside our front door.

Every year we

• Host more than 300 events, including 35 conventions, meetings, trade shows, exhibits, and fund-raising galas. Yearly favorites include the Festival of Trees, Kid for a Night, Flower and Garden Show, and Chamber of Commerce events.

Our History

Completed in January 1990, the Boise Centre quickly became a valuable economic catalyst for growth—not only in downtown Boise where the facility is located, but also for lodging properties throughout the District which accommodate thousands of guests every year. Our focus is on serving our community, helping to revitalize downtown Boise and bring new visitors to the Treasure Valley. As an operating entity of the Greater Boise Auditorium District, we are proud of our contribution towards economic growth.
